Debut single and kick off track from the upcoming album Twirl Back Home, "Beautiful Soul" is a gorgeous Country ballad with swirling guitar lines from Rik Elswit that interplay with pedal steel throughout and Denise Funari’s (Yard Sale) earthy harmonies. About the touching, thought-provoking lyrics, Gayle Lynn explains, “This song came while flying back to California after a Kentucky visit with my family. I remember thinking – Could I let California be my home? It continues looking at common struggles of trying to figure it all out - where to live, what to do, who to be. How to keep up and not become overwhelmed with our non-stop, ‘do it all’ culture.” It ends with a resolve verse – someone has stepped in to say “It’ll be alright, take a break, you are fine”.
